Dear L, thank you. I am so very, very grateful for what you have done for me. Thank you for offering me a shelter when I desperately seeked for one. Thank you for allowing me to share your most private space. Thank you for providing me with that companionship when I had felt so lost and lonely. Thank you for all the food that you bought and shared with me.
When I felt down or low, thank you for noticing and asking and then patiently hearing me out as I ranted on and on and on. Thank you for offering your best advice and sharing your Compassion with me from the heart. I am grateful for all those heart to heart talks, those times where we shared our thoughts and feelings and experiences and simply talked. Thank you.
Thank you for being a phone call or a text away, you did so much to help me get used to being on my own, for that, I am deeply thankful. Thank you for eating the food that I cooked, no matter how bad and bland it tasted, you still said it was delicious...thank you.
Thank you for having been so attentive to me, to my needs, and even to my pains. Be it emotional or physical, you were more than helpful and considerate. Thank you so much.

I am very grateful to have been your travelling companion for those few short months.
