Dear Mom,
Thank you very much for providing me the best support. When we were in Taiwan, you would take me out to the acupuncture bar, and would help me translate what the people at the bar were talking about. Furthermore, you assisted me greatly in asking the people at the acupuncture bar about olive pits that were available in Taiwan. Amazingly, there was only one person who was known throughout Taiwan that carves olive pits into the shape of ships. In addition, thank you very much for pouring so much of your heart into translating the email that I poured my soul into typing so that I may be able to reach across to the carver, and let him know how I feel, and why this olive pit has so much significance to me; and because you were able to translate my email in Mandarin, the carver, Mr. Chen, responded, and he was so taken by the email he even considered to take up my offer of carving a ship olive pit. In addition, thank you very much for lending me money in Taiwan so that I could not only purchase more sessions at the acupuncture bar, or buy the olive pit from Mr. Chen or from eBay, but so that I could remain capable in taking care of myself in Taiwan when I was there by myself. Furthermore, thank you very much for continuing to assist me with the olive pit ship and Mr. Chen when you arrived back in Canada, this provided me the support and logistics that I needed when I was planning how and when and where I was going to meet Mr. Chen. In addition, you even assisted me by providing me your friend Vicky to take me to Mr. Chen's place and help provide translation, this helped me immensely. In addition, when I was in Taiwan, your calls helped provide morale boosts for me when I was left with two Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde figures. Thank you also for picking me up from the airport on my arrival back to Vancouver, and for giving me grace for a two week long period when I was very messy and just getting back into things, this helped me to re-energize and get back onto track, with absence of a whiny or demanding voice. Thank you for continuing to provide me with rides to and back from work when I need rides, this has made my life so much more easier, and stress free. During the summer martial arts camp, your week long super lunches helped me to effectively re-charge my battery during lunch time so that I wouldn't crash later on during the day when I was still teaching the group classes. Thank you, but these posts will not be enough to thank you for what you have done before, now, and in the future. Thank you very much.
