Dear Dad, thank you. Thank you for taking on the 'non-existent' father figure so that it can become a learning platform for me. I am grateful for all the time and energy you spend into your work in order to earn the money that allows our family to live without worries, I am truly grateful for your attempts in reconciling with our family and you trying so hard to be a good dad. I see it...even if I don't show it.
In hindsight, I am grateful that you presented the work of Betrayal to my mom and I, it has pushed me to become a little more independent and presented me with a lesson if I choose to learn it. Thank you for choosing to come back to our family, to be willing to work with Mom and us to smooth out our ridges. I know it is not easy for you, I know it is emotionally difficult for you as well...so thank you.
