Dear Mom,

You gave birth to and raised me. You cared for me the best you knew how. Now I realize the best I can do to show you my gratitude is to live up to my highest potential. I also know you may not get what I am working toward at this stage of my life. What I am working on is be able to someday shine my light in such a way that you will experience your own brilliance through my light.

Mom, I love you and share my light with you. I thank you for bring me into this world this lifetime, so I have a chance to discover and reclaim my self!
