Dear Ivy,

Thank you very much for always being there to remind me how generous Wendy is with her money. I understand that she has supported my family even before I was born, but just because she supports us doesn't mean that she owns my family and I. So thank you for showing me how not to give with strings attached. In addition, thank you for jabbing, poking, and coming to talk to me during the times of the day that I was focused and concentrated on other tasks; it allowed me to practice patience with others, and allowed me to share my myself with you and others. Sometimes we would speak for so long, but in the back of my mind I was so annoyed to want to talk to you about money, money, and more money, or what am I to do with money, or what money is, or how I should spend my money, how much I should save, now I don't have to go to university and spend money on a overpriced business 101 class. On the other hand, thank you very much for picking up my family and I when we arrived in Taiwan, and thank you for taking us to the airport when it was time to return back home. Furthermore, thank you for offering to take my family and/or I out around the city to do either some sight seeing or shopping, you did a fantastic job as a host. In addition, thank you very much for providing snacks for my sister and I; and for sharing your washroom with my family and I to use; I also understand it must have been difficult for you to see us use the lights in the apartment, when you would have chosen to turn off the lights to save electricity, so thank you for being understanding. Thank you for checking on me, and showing care to me when you felt that I might not have been satisfied, when I was in fact satisfied. Lastly, thank you very much for sometimes helping defend my ass when it was about to be obliterated by Wendy.
