I recently came to realizing how much time and how many opportunities I wasted in the way I used to always hope I would get a second chance to do better at the things I regretted. I realized that all this time I'd been hanging on to those regrets, frozen in time, not moving forward. I realized how many opportunities I had let pass by because I refused to allow myself to be ready for them. No more. I've decided that how things ended between us is my last regret. No more longing for second chances. Learn and move on. Perhaps I need it this way, to make that last regret one that really meant something to me..so that it carries weight and I'll always remember.
