Dear Shadow Self,
You have been with me as long as I can remember... and I am assuming, I carried you with me for lifetimes. You were always there for me to sabotage my growth, you lead me to believe that everyone was there to hurt me...that no one understands the pain that I am living in. You helped me fail in everything that was important to me... too many to recall, but I know you know them just as well as I do. You helped me push all the people away from me... 'they are all selfish anyone'... you helped me believe that that I am not good enough. You have destroyed everything that grows around me so I and everything around me is burnt. You are so loyal to your cause that you are the first respondant when I am 'off' and I am certain that when even help me attain my 'offness'. I thank you for taking me to these low places all the time.
I fully accept the responsibility that it is I that invited you and empowered you. It is I that has given you power to destroy. It is my projection that fueled your fire. I take full responsibilty of what I created and what I have become as a result of giving you a 'job'.
Shadow Self, listen closely.... You helped me see and realize what I have become.. and I Thank You. As it is taught to me, that duality exists so I have choices. I am fully engaged in choosing my choices, choosing my path, choosing what is for 'My' Highest Good. I am exercising my Free Will!
Shadow Self, you are disempowered!!! you are fired!!! I am done with you!!! I CHOOSE my Path, my Direction! and my responses to situations. I believe in MYSELF and I know at every level that I can overcome any and all adversity... I have experience to draw from.... and I have the Self in the Light. I choose to provide nourishment, love and light to all life that surrounds me. I fuel the Self with empowering and positive thoughts resulting in positive and empowering actions.
Shadow Self, you are FIRED!!! I release and relinquish you from my physical, mental, emotional planes.
